hmmm, I'm not seeing it.
In this game I deliberately left "tars" until there were only three seconds left, and then submitted it; it showed up green and then was in the list of words at the end.

I'll try again, but I actually don't see how this could happen--the same exact code is run whether it's near the end of the game or not (just that low times are printed in red).

Well, I played a couple games, but every time the last second words showed up (or they were too late and the game was already over, but no green).

also, notice that the last word you enter (if you enter many at once) won't necessarily be the last one in the list, since it actually processes them in reverse order. Maybe that's why you missed it?
