What does it mean to "lock the games"?

I've been playing a board before, and accidentally hit the wrong button, and locked mySELF out - is that what you mean? The normal 3 min timer on the games? (still a noob) ;)

I don't think registration will help as much as you suggest. Aside from the fact that it would be some trouble to implement, it has some maintenance problems: Registration only helps if people are banned (?), but identifying who to ban, and dealing with their complaints, takes a lot of effort. Moreover, it is easy to sign up for new accounts to avoid bans.

I do agree that a lot of the problem is caused by people who insist that the game must be played *their* way.
