being a webbie is not the problem. being a person who plays words like ulu, tutu, sis, etc., etc., and being able to play several times in a row is the problem. it's a co-op game. and not every time is everyone going to play exactly the way the person before them hoped they would. sometimes i don't recognize a set. but never would i just purposely mess up the board by playing 3-letter words on the triples and never would i try to use all the U's and S's. so the webbies who are jealous because people have computers and they don't are the problem. |

I don't think I'm better than a webtv player because they use webtv -- if you can read you'll see i have one and THAT'S WHAT I USE to play scribble, so your attempt at that argument doesn't work. Perhaps the problem is that some webtv'ers DON'T read or don't understand what they read.
Most webtv'ers intentionally ruin games -- BadPenny and mck play the game as intended and no one considers them trolls -- although I'm not so sure it's really more than one or two players using fake names or playing anonymously so we can't tell how many there are.
If you read the instructions you'll see Tom (the site owner) states that the game's objective is to get HIGH SCORES, and the plays made by webtv'ers are just the opposite -- they block triple word score plays, use the U's so the Q can't be used, and waste the S's and premium letter tiles.
They also make multiple plays in a row, which is also not allowed and clearly stated in the instructions. There are games today with up to 8 plays made at one time by one webtv'er, and each play was an intentional play made to ruin the game.
No one said webtv'ers aren't allowed to play -- what was said was we wish webtv'ers would play the game the way it was intended to be played. Webtv'ers have been asked in the chat why they can't follow the rules, and they've chosen to ignore the chat and continue to play like trolls.
Quite frankly, most of the webtv'ers playing scribble perpetuate the theory that webtv'ers are of less than average intelligence because they 1) don't read, 2) don't understand what they read, or 3) are jerks.
Given all that, it's no wonder webtv'ers are looked at with disdain. The game is meant to be COOPERATIVE (also in the instructions), and if you won't cooperate, what are we to think other than you're a troll deliberately out to ruin the game?
If you have any explanation as to why blocking triple word score plays, using the U's so the Q can't be used, and wasting the S's and premium letter tiles shouldn't be considered troll plays, I think we'd all like to hear it. |

And, it just so happens that YOUR webtv number "3247," (and as it changes consecutively as you play) IS one of the troll I.D. numbers. No one has anything against you, UNLESS it is YOU that is playing as a troll. So, what is YOUR problem??? |

And, Alpha (WEBTV 3122) is a very cooperative and excellent webtv player and no one has anything against her because she is NOT a troll. So, what is your point about the so-called vendetta against webtv players? If you feel there is something held against you as a webtv player, it would be because you play as a troll. Webtver 3247, your guilt comes through in your statement. |
