Thanks for the explanation, but when I started playing I, too, had just the proxy-4 digit number and I could never make multiple plays OR enter a game another webbie had just left.
This 'webbie block' was a message board discussion once, I think, because all webbies had the same problem -- this is quite awhile ago when deni was playing, and if she played I always had to wait till a non-webbie played before I could access a game, and I know deni & i are not in the same area of the country.
Also, at that time, if I started playing with a 4 digit number, it stuck with me till I left & came back.
Bottom line is that my experience as a webbie doesn't follow your explanation, but I do understand about the banning concept.
