Why do you say that Muddle is a "cooperative word puzzle"? Its not.
In the results, or main page, we can see that so-and-so "beat" him or her.
And in the rules, when talking about word entry tactics you say "good to get them in before other players grab them". You go on to say "you may want to look for similar words ... before revealing your great words". Clearly not cooperative.
This is a player-against-player game.
