On either May 23 or May 24, 1999, Craig Kilborn made a joke about the incident at the Kemper Arena in Kansas City where pro wrestler Owen Hart fell to his death in an accident. The joke was as follows(Blue Blazer was Owen's character's name):
"Although the Blue Blazer died, the White Turtleneck was unharmed."
This is in horrible taste, and afterwards may wrestling fans vowed never to watch Kilborn's show again. I can't blame them. |
