Hm. I'm surprised to hear that. I'm no HTML guru or anything, but it seems that if you can grab the comment text at all - which, obviously, you can - then it should also be possible to do something like what I suggested. It's not really that different from what a site like slashdot does with the preview button, but maybe that's CGI-based.
I'll play around a bit with this myself and see what I can come up with. Maybe I'll come up with something you can use; maybe I'll learn why it's not doable and shut up. ;-) |
