I love this site. Sometimes the few who constantly make a mess stress me out. Sometimes I go to Spogg.com and play crosswise for awhile. For sure, I always come back here........
Highest Scoring Expert Game

Someone below asked what the highest scoring expert game was. I still had the link (now defunct) in my email account:

http://archive.snoot.org/scribble/07.08/26.23.18.05-1963.html

1963 points. By yours truly.  ;-)   It's in the snoot archive somewhere, you just need to unzip the 07.7z archive, and search for "1963".

Oh yeah, there were also unconventional "15-letter-word" games (words spanning three TWS tiles) that reached over 2300, but my data on those games is nonexistent...
Missed you, Scribble

Scoring

... details not found in either "beginner" or "advanced" instructions:

Like a scrabble board, the triple letter here would make a J/8 = 24, right? So, a U/1 and G/2 added to that would be 27.

So, the score said 22. Can't find anywhere why the 5 would be deducted, unless that's what they do if you add less than three letters? Looked & looked, and found nothing about deductions and how those are calculated.

THANK YOU.
Browsed, and ...

... can't seem to find where one might see what the highest co-op game score here is so far. Archives don't note it in the listing, so, does anyone know?

Thanks.

Tom, some of the boards have much longer delays in finally getting a board closed...

I managed to get one closed this morning that has been lingering 12hrs.

But another lingering now at 9hrs still unable to close...

although there was tornado today in my city - it was not in my area. I am safe at home...although the tail end of the tornado sent a blast of very wet and rough rain where I was. So I got home all safe and dry and pleased that I was not affected by it...etc

games 15 and beyond are showing up with every other game... please give us back the sanity we can have from those who feel that triples and S's are made to be used in different ways :-)
