Tom,
Why do you say that Muddle is a "cooperative word puzzle"? Its not.
In the results, or main page, we can see that so-and-so "beat" him or her.
And in the rules, when talking about word entry tactics you say "good to get them in before other players grab them". You go on to say "you may want to look for similar words ... before revealing your great words". Clearly not cooperative.
This is a player-against-player game.
You should change your description. |

A strange thing just happened--the same game showed up for me three times in a row (games 518858-518860). I've been playing for a long time and never seen this before. The third time I just copied and pasted a bunch of words from the other games for fun which is totally cheating so you can strike that one from the records if you want!

Tom,
There's a lot of comments about "players" that don't play and lock games. As some have pointed out, many of these are search engine spiders trying to index your site.
To prevent spiders from indexing a page or following links from that page, put the following line in the header section of pages not to be indexed:
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW">
You might want to let them index a game's main page, but not follow links (and consequently lock games) with the following:
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX,NOFOLLOW"> |
