This started out so well, looked like a potential 1900+ game, but got bogged down in the middle. oh well... |

I tried to use the word tolt but it was not accepted. It is the name of the gait that Icelandic horses do. |

In another thread, Bad Penny made the comment: "Expert rules???? I declare myself "expert"! Now my rules apply."
Seems to me that anyone playing the expert games darn well knows there are specific instructions for them, so now this question comes to mind:
should we enforce (as much as possible) the expert instructions in the expert games, or let the expert rules go and let people play as they want?
Honestly, like someone else said, why distinguish those games as expert games if you're not going to follow the expert rules? There are, after all, only 3 expert games, as opposed to 14 regular games, where anyone can play any old way they want!

Tom, there's probably no solution to this, but I'd like to know why certain expert games are 'dumped' -- example: we just had 3 fairly decent games started, and for no discernable reason to me 2 of them have been ended. Since we can't leave chat unless we make a play, and the games aren't high scoring enough to be archived, there's no way to know why 2 people voted to end a game unless someone explains it in here, right?
Maybe players could use messages to explain why they voted to end-- it would certainly help me understand if I've made a misplay. |

Tom, I noticed that during the last few seconds of a game in Muddle, if you find a word that is there, it will flash in green that you found it. But then when it switches to the "game has ended" screen, you are not given credit for that last word. It's not a huge deal, I just wanted to let you know about it. Other than that, it's a great game and lots of fun. :-) |

| certain people that mess up boards on purpose |

I know it has been brought up before but... I think that it is terrible when certain people come here and mess up the boards... we work hard to set up the good plays and then some one comes along and screws it up.
And before any one goes and looks up in the archived games how many times I have played, you won't find me. I am at work now, but I do play quite often at night or early AM from home.
Thanks for letting me sound off!! |
