tee hee no alpha in DirectDraw! but dont feel bad u r not alone Steve Jobs/Bill Gates are also forced to used OpenGL/Direct3d for 2d Alpha in OS X/Longhorn
if u get DirectX9 u can call direct3d directly from SML.net (WARNING I DIDNT REALLY TRY THIS BUT ITS SUPPOSED 2 WORK!!!!)
but cyber machines are so fast--is software alpha bitmap really a no go?
