-um probably you can hold your slate anyway u like! later i will find a flashlight and take pictures of myself playing "real doom 3" in my basement actually i wont

-if you move the pen really fast you might see the cursor fall a SCENTAMETER or so behind the pen tip depending on how fast your compy is and how huge and laggy your proggy is

-when u first get it u might be like WOW I HAVE TO PUSH REALLY HARD but actually u r rong--its just that u are afraid of scratching your super expensive new screen. but the super expensive is also SUPER MAGICALLY SCRATCH RESISTENT so push as hard you need. the manual even recommends resting ur hand on the screen.

-farina i used to long for the days of win2k as well but with sp 2 i think xp's stability now suprasses 2k!

i dont kno if os replace is even possible but if you do you may miss out on these features

* faster wake from sleep/hibernation
* fake on screen keyboard that you use with you pen
* handwriting recognition instead of typing
* voice recognition that i can never get to work for any purpose other than "look how ridiculous this stupid voice recognize is" to all my friends
* ink support in some apps (like windows journal. i guess there's also software to annotate ms office files, but i never got around to stealing it. theres a crap load of business and productivity and business software to take advantage of ink)
* in fact now that i think about it you're almost certainly stuck with windows xp because the drivers for wacom "penenabled" screens probably assume you are running tablet pc edition

so far i've only found one application incompatibility for tablet edition vs. regular edition of xp--illustrator cs draws lines with pen tool with such incredible lag it must be a bug--i use illustrator 10 insted
