LC is mot definetly an art piece. the beauty and range of emotion shown leavs room for few other definitions.

then again, i tend to take the Scot McCloud view that anything thats not actively helping humans reproduce or survive is art.

(Warning: shitty mood approaching!)

'artificially'?

YOU try to divorce yourself from your creations! If you can, you're a better person than me. Art or otherwise; these questions don't concern me. The author manages to create images that catch at the soul, that talk about being human. Andrea is human. So are you. This much, at the very least, we have in common. LastCereal is humanity talking to itself, but it's also Andrea talking about humanity.

And as much as I might like to be, and despite what I wrote a little while ago, we are not a passive audience.

So explain 'relevance'? What do you mean, Eurora? Does LC mean more or less to you, being art? Pleased to meet you, by the way; I feel like I've never spoken directly to you before. Please excuse any residual shittyness in this message -- none of it's directed at you.

I don't know why 'H' over 'K' or any other letter, but tonight it seems very fitting.

...and just missed you, anyway. That last message must have taken me ages to type.

Diaries: it's probably easy to confuse H/Andrea; H is whose life we see and emotionally connect with, but Andrea is who we can talk to. I certainly don't see LC as a diary, although it seems to have moved quite far away from its metaphorical beginnings to more narrative content. More complex.

Communication: Do you feel like it's valid to talk to Andrea about the things that happen in LC-world? This is quite a different situation to a picture hanging in a gallery, no artist present; and also quite different to a 'comedy' comic. I don't know how much 'life' the characters have for Andrea - maybe he'd like to comment (Hi Andrea!).

I see the board and LC as two quite distinct entities -- I don't feel quite right discussing the comic here.

Art: I like Omagus' definition too; and love letters are definitely 'artiface'. ;)

Art :) Come on: LC is, after all, a weblog.

H. hasn't much to do with me, right now. But that little that we have in common, is the strongest (weakest) part of both of us.

Where are the shared spots? You guess ;)
