Finally a subject I can sink my teeth into. I suck at digital art. This is my area of expertise. I actually like some American Horror films, Bram Stoker's Dracula being one of my favorites. I had a fever of 106 degrees when I saw it and it came alive to me...how about David Bowie in the Hunger. Great imagery but pales in comparison to reality. It is the existence of the underworld that generates my work and is a catalyst for healing. Working in the knowledge of shamanism, sorcery, Haitian voodoo and in the direct environment of American Indian repatriation keep the dead and undead in my face. Research will show you that most of the dabblers in the occult are in it for the mystery, some for the $$$. Sincere practitioners frequently are maddened by contact with the dead. This is not child's play. Strength and protection are required. This is not goofy reincarnation stuff - everyone thinks they were formerly gandhi or napoleon or king solomon with a thousand wives. NOT! Cellular memory aside, there are those who are not living off of the implanted memories of high school history. There are those who actually make contact with the dead and who return them through traditional ceremonies to rest. Risky business.

heh...
guys..are you ok?
"horror on its most surreal and psychological level"...explain me this phrase...horror on psychologiacal level? do you really think that the real horror is on that surreal psychological level?..do you?....art horror..ok..i 'll give ya all art horror.. the surrealistic art horror
what does horrify you more... : a picture drawn by my classmate, where a young woman was washing a toddler in a tub full of acid ( isn't that crap damn pretty good surrealistic?), or a real story of a girl who was raped by her stepfather when she was 12 years old..what would horrify you more?
yaaaa!!!! babies burning in the tub full of acid..! how ridiculous is that?!
all these movies are good..but if you're looking for the horror, you're in a wrong place (btw...wtf do you need that " horror"?..why do you need to feel that death?..."Caaaan yoooooooou feeeel the DEATH tonight..baaaby..")
horror is the reality..and even the best movie cannot capture that feeling..because you cannot represent that feeling fully on a film..because the real horror which you feel is...yeah..right, babe..is personal...these people who have done the movies which horrify you, knew an important rule,"If you want to make something that touches many...make this "something" really..deeply..personal."

and...be carefull with the word "art"
..don't touch it ..forget this word....and such a nonsense like "art horror" especially..

there are many good painters..there are many good movie directors..there are many good singers..there are many good actors..there are many good designers

but just a few of them are artists..in millions and millions of people there might be an artist...seriously..and maybe all the arists are dead right now..who knows.

okie-dokie, silly wabbits..time to study for the finals

and bee, tomorrow is my extravaganza night..we're presenting our final 3D wearable sculpture thing..mine is going to be grrrrrrrrazy,,right now it's like 2 times bigger than i am...and..and..you'll see

I watch the movies of which you speak. I used to watch them all night long on a national channel which at late night gave up the normal programs for very rare-d'essay films.

I suggest "Unman, wittering and Zigo": far more than a thriller. Dark, surreal art. Search for it on www.imdb.com
Also, the more famous "Straw dog".

As for Last Cereal "supernatural" side, stay tuned. I planned nice things.
