Meh.
Yes, aesthetics are entirely subjective. Agendas may not be, but opinions on what are valid agendas ARE. Art with explanation is powerful because it enables everyone to get the message that was intended. The ART isn't powerful, the MESSAGE is. The aesthetic then becomes almost irrelevant.
The only thing that will ever be agreed upon in this discussion is that people like different things for different reasons. After all opinions have been exchanged, what then?
Personally, I prefer discussions that have the potential to go somewhere.
Or CHANGE something!
