Sounds like you tried plenty of methods to troubleshoot this, so my only real other thought is that the downloaded files might have not completed or been corrupted somehow? I would try re-downloading them (maybe with a different browser).

Hi!

Unfortunately I have the same problem as Auracene, I tried to download the files on an other computer and I still have the same message. I'm running El Capitan on Mac Pro 2008.

Thanks!

Actually, the two of you having DMG file struggles, would you mind reaching out to us by email?

I have a couple ideas of settings I could try flipping in the DMG creation process, if you're game to troubleshoot me sending you a few files, seeing if they open for you, I would be interested in solving this if possible.

+1

OSX 10.11. None of the updated plugins can be opened due to "no mountable file system"

Cheers!

public update: I was able to find the source of the problem and solve it. All of the downloads are fixed now (same software contained in the DMG files, but the DMG process was redone to support older systems).

for the sake of anyone coming upon this thread and wondering what the problem and solution were: The command-line tool hdiutil as of macOS 11 / Big Sur by default creates DMG files APFS as the file system, whereas prior to 11 the default was HFS+. Mounting APFS requires macOS 10.13 or higher. The solution is to add to the command-line arguments: -fs HFS+
