I am really enjoying the muddle alpha test, but seeing it is only alpha, I thought I'd make some suggestions:
- Calculate the percentage of points received to the number of points it was possible to receive (a little more incentive to find those long words)
- Allow users to 'login' by creating an account system. This would allow for detailed leaderboards (eg lifetime percentage, words per game etc.), and statistics for each user. Obviously you would only allow people to make the leaderboard after playing 'x' number of games (to avoid people at the top of the board who have only played one really lucky game). It would really add an extra element to the game and add to its appeal.
- Pull the cookie information and place it in the textbox (when you have already submitted your nickname, it still says guest. Just set the value in the textbox tag to the value you are pulling from the cookie)
- Remove people from games, either when they click the 'return to muddle' button in a game, or they join other game (eg they used the back button in their browser).
Have a great weekend,
