SICO Moves - Comments

Will the new SICO when it is fully functional and operational, allow players to add comments to their moves like the old SICO had?
More SICO progress

Now you can move around the pieces (based on Chess rules) and it automatically resets mated games. As soon as I've implemented locking, logging of old games, and voting to give up stuck games (tomorrow?), I'll open it up! The graphics won't be very nice though...

Hey, Tom7, you sound like a true Minnesotan. Over here, we end all of our sentences with prepositions whenever possible (yes, I am serious!). So it's great to see the error message in Scribble when one doesn't have a needed letter: Oops! you don't have the N needed to do that with. Maybe it's worth a bit of a rewrite to fix your grammar snafu?
SICO Progress Report

SICO is almost to a usable state. I have to incorporate the old move-checking and move-generation code into the new system and then essentially copy scribble's game management stuff over. So it's all coding, nothing tricky. Expect something to play with this weekend.
Does anyone else see screwed up scribble board?

Good to see Scribble again! Does anybody else get a screwed up game board? Depending on what state the board is in, I get some "squares" on the board extra big, and some extra small, making it hard to read.

Any clues?

scoring problem?

I may be wrong but in game 2, at 2:40pm est today I placed a word at c10 across "YORE" the Y was on a triple letter and the E was on a double word. I think it should have been 30 points instead of the 24 that was given. Is the "Y" worth 4 (4X3=12) + ORE (3)X 2 = 30? I could be wrong, I am not known for my mathematical brilliance. Thanks for this great game. It is wonderful having it back again.
