I think I fixed the problem where one could castle with an empty space (or an opponent's piece!) in a variation where the kings don't start in their usual spaces. At least, I think I did. If anyone gets to check this out and confirm it's fixed (the situations are rare), it'd be appreciated if you let me know.

In SICO: a losing game can go on for far too long eg King + Rook v King. Can we have a button labeled 'Reccomend resignation' and if enough people click on it without making a move then the game ends? |

| Suggestion for Binary Fiction |

It would be helpful in Binary Fiction if it were obvious which story nodes continue and which require new story material. For example, the two choices at the end of each node are underlined as hyperlinks. Perhaps they should be underlined only if they move on to additional story nodes, but should appear as plain text if they do not yet have a continuation. Then add a button to allow the reader whether or not to write the next story node. This is analogous to the "see" option in the Scibble and Chess games. That way the reader would not be surprised with a request to write a continuing story line he or she did not intend to write and the new story node would not be locked for five minutes unnecessarily. It would also allow a reader to go back and forth in the story to decide in which story line he or she wishes to write a new story node.
Also, I wrote the story node at "What's this in my Pocket" #1630. I also clicked on the link to report that story node as "stupid or offensive" because I expected it to give me a text block such as this to explain my suggestion. Since it did not, I have to assume that I have accidently reported my own story node as "stupid or offensive". Since I wrote it, obviously I do not think it is so and would prefer that you let it remain as I wrote it.
Thanks. |

As I understand it, the point of the voting system in scizophrenic/collaborative fiction was to STOP offensive and stupid storylines. This is obviously not the case, as if you read the story of the Doctor Azul section, you
'll see that it involves the Pope being evil and trying to kill the main characters.
THE POPE. THIS IS THE MOST OFFENSIVE THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. Attempts to change the storyline into making it a "fake" pope(which were my own) were shot down.
Obviously, these people are not intentionally trying to be offensive--but they are as$holes.
Please delete the story, or discontinue it or something--after all, I don't go around trying to put Martin Luther King Jr. into the story as an evil character. Or Martin Luther(the original protenstant reformer, in case I got the name wrong), for that matter.
Why don't you just approve the storylines your self--maybe twice a week--along the same lines as the voting(you look over all the choices and pick the one you like most), so that offensive and stupid crap will actually be blocked, and so that the same two or three authors don't get their input chosen every single time(get a little variety into it). |

How do you accept a draw? Do there have to be a certain number of offers in a row? |

Hey Tom 7, what is the adress of your old AOL site. You know the one with "How to break your computer" on it and such? Maybe you should link to that, or copy all of the zany stuff from it onto Snoot.
And whatever happened to Lunus, or whatever that RPG you were programming was? |
