The 'Enter Word' button has collapsed to a line. I think this happened when you added the 'key'. Can it be corrected?

I was wondering why you put in a censorship thing for Binary Fiction. There's a difference between racial slurs and such which SHOULD be censorned, and a mild curse like the word "b*tch"(not sure if you put one in here, too). Correct me if I'm wrong, but what is the purpose of being able to report the node as offensive if the censorship program does the same thing, and vice-versa? If someone is offended by node content, then why not just let them report it rather than do some sort of pre-emptive strike?

SICO Castling
[544] by "Darren" (userbq39.uk.uudial.com)   on Fri 24 Mar 2000 07:51:13     reply ]
Apologies if someone has already pointed this out, but today I was able to "castle" when there were no rooks present - that is, the king was able to move from e1-g1 in a single move with no rook on h1. (Game 3, black's move 24. It's listed as "o-o" so evidently SICO thinks it's a valid castle. Although a new game 3 may have started today.)

Tom 7.

When me and links were checking SICO for you tonight we noticed a fault in the rules !

It allowed white to castle even though blacks rook was attacking the square the white rook ended up on. I hope you understand.

Im know your still working on the game but just letting you know just in case you overlooked that rule.

I love SICO, thanks Tom, and its pretty cool that you took that rule that ya cant play one on one out for too long ;)

Dear Tom,
Great to see the site back up, it would be great to see the haiku happening soon.

With SICO the pieces indicate all possible moves except where a take is involved, this would be a plus.

Cheers

I just added word/game statistics counting to Scribble.

The game has been working out well -- I'd consider Scribble "beta" now.
