I know you all think I am a troll, but I'm not - the trolls are the people who are purposely using up all the u's with words like tutu and sulu and then actually blocking the triple letter scores.
So, don't call me a troll! I'm just not a very good player!!! |

The mention of the zephyr game got me thinking of some other variations we might try to spike interest, so here are 3 variations:
1. a game played ONLY by those that feel it necessary to use all the S's, U's, block triples, play 18 pt words on the trips, etc., to see how high a score they can get. No helping from the seasoned players, let the trolls have it for themselves. I bet they couldn't reach 500 pts.
2. challenge the trolls, especially anono webbie that likes to trash the expert games, to play at least one regular board game in it's entirety without making a trollish move, not necessarily like an expert, but like someone that's trying to get a high score. I bet none of them could do it.
3. reverse the roles -- let the trolls play like experts, let the experts play like trolls. that would be fun.
I'd find those interesting games. Anyone game? |

Top Twenty in fact... somewhere around 17th place (really need to update the official list):

I am pleased. :-) |

They're no Top 50's... I've been absent too long, so cut me some slack ;-)
----------
Contains a 300+ point play with no premium tiles in the word:

Four trips in 5 turns:

Seventeen Hundred-y Goodness:

... again, would love to see other people do this type of stuff. It's not *that* hard, especially with the Premium DLS List. These three games were completed within a 3-hour period :-)

for quite probably the first and only time, I scored 100% in Muddle - there was only 1 word in the game!
Thanks to Mikeypoo's long-ago advice, since I couldn't see any word I just began typing in any 4 letters and luckily, I found it.
I have to admit, even though I was guessing and it was only 1 word, it feels pretty good to get to 100%.
Hopefully, this makes up for the 2 letter game on Friday, where I only found 1 word. |
