Hi Tom,
This could easily be a webtv problem, but everytime I try to place a word today I get the follwing screen:
uncaught exception E_FILE: opena: Couldn't opena(write/append): /home/httpd/snoot-archive/scribble/05.05/20.12.58.14-769.htm
Any idea why this is happening? I'm having no problem with Muddle. |

'Ginormous' Tops Non-Dictionary Word List

The response from the "vocabularians" was so "ginormous" that the lexicographers let out a "whoot." "Confuzzled?" You must be a "lingweenie."

| Tom or Mike: average game score? |

I'm just curious: has anyone ever calculated an average game score for the regular scribble boards? It seems to me that our scores used to be higher: I looked through the archived May 2004 games, for example, and there were more scores of 800-1000+ points, as opposed to what I think I'm seeing now, 600-800 points.
It would be a daunting task to calculate an average with so many games played, but a) I just wondered if I'm right that the scores have gone down in the past year and b) if posted in the instructions, it might give new players an idea of what "high scores" mean.
And as an afterthought, is the most often unused letter the Q? |

MSN bot seems to be offering draws in games.. amusing, but somewhat annoying when it locks a game for 120 seconds :-/ |

came out of retirement for a few days - just to see if i still had it . i honestly thought i have lost it , after playing a few miserable games . but at last i reassured myself with this beauty of a game . all in thx to a little 12 letter word (journalizers) . that was the kicker.......... |

I've always thought it'd be cool if one could search the Scribble archives for a piece of text. There have been a number of times where I've had to look at nearly 100 games to find a certain snippet of conversation I wanted to see. Any chance this could be implemented? Just a text box and a grey button somewhere ;-) |

What does it mean when almost all the games are "gray" and can't be accessed and when I click on the other games which aren't gray I get a screen that says "you can't make two words in a row"? Right now I cannot play any of the games. Would appreciate any and all feedback. |
