i think you have said what i tried to say somewhere in there, but i think you did a much better job then i.

my sugestion that we just say "good" or "bad" from our respective positions, and leave it at that, is the same as what your saying, that all statement are qualitative and that we should just not worry about it.

i guess the best we can do as an educated collection of minds [tobot: IN A JAR!!!!!!!!!!!] is to point out the art we liked and let our peers go review it themselves.

Thank you FrereKhan a voice of sanity!I always liked this place because it was filled with artistic people and was an escape from all the fighting and flame wars all over the rest of the internet.I do not mind debates but really I do not like arguing.Yes I guess that is what Vla said when he stated "Dali is not an artist."Afterall I dislike things like Norman Rockwell and all that boring American as apple pie folkart but I would not say it is not art because it certainly is to some people. So perhaps instead Vla you should say "I dislike the art of Salvador Dali."

But what's this? I have no concrete basis to assume Vla's gender! Henceforth only gender-nonspecific language will be used by this unit to describe gender-nonspecific persons!

Reset and apologise.
