Yo.
Thanxalot for all the stuff- usefull or fun- you guys have created. Sorry, I'm not really out to take over your company though. But I do have a question. Back in the old days, life was easy for a producer with an os 9 & Cubase setup. You could even work inside yer old Akais for instance, through a nice little app called Mesa. How sad that since we moved up to osx the old Akai stuff is gone forever. Because Akai never updated to x. Would you guys be able- or rather willing- to come up with a simple VST app that, similar to Mesa, makes the 2/ 3000 series Akais compatible with and approachable from (sequencers like cubase sx in) osx? Or, would it be possible to redo Mesa to make it function under x?
Sorry to ask much, but I'm sure a lot of producers would be grateful.
Thnx,
Krijn@laboratorivm.com |

Copies on the way for the DFX crew. Most of the tracks feature processing by DFX plug-ins under Apple OSX.

Recorded some vinyl for a relative so I could send him a CD copy. Since I know he'll listen to it stoned I added a bonus track of Scrubby kicking the shit out of the "hit." Many thanks for your ticking time-bomb. |

Probs with skidder - is there MIDI gater for Win32? |

I was searching for a stable, quality gating VST plugin for Win32, and I found skidder. This is really good (thanks :)) except unless rupture is set to 0 the internal gating continues (when all I want is MIDI triggering).
The problem with this is that a rupture setting of 0 seems to cause lots of pops/clicks on the edges of the triggering MIDI events, even though slope is set >5ms.
I guess what I really need is MIDI gater, except I don't see a version of that compiled for Win32 :(
I'm running Cubase SX 2 on WinXP Pro btw.
Thanks :-D |

Have used DFX plugins on a few new tracks; used the Buffer Override on "Listerine" which is being released on kuma-chan record's tribute to Kristin Hersh.
Keep it up guys.. these are great plugins! |

Hey,
i dont know if this is a DFX bug or a Bidule bug, but when I use more than one kind of DFX plugin with Plogue Bidule, the interface of one of them, but not the other, gets all screwed up (see img).

This has got ot be my favorite plug-in ever.. all the DFX plugs are great too. But something about that transverby sound is just irresistable.
Is there any chance you could set the other parameters besides speed to allow their values to be typed in? This would make working with it in a live setting much easier.
Great stuff regardless. |
