As my "Live-mate" Gorhgorh said before THANX A LOT for creatin some of the best plug-ins.Lots of payplugz are really shitti compared to yours ; and when i say "a lot" it means almost all of them...
My favorite is the damn incredible buffer override which , once midi automated , is my favorite ill-breakbeats sequencer.
(tip : put in "bpm" the half of the original tempo ; U'll be more precise and then U can really do the type of saquence U'R thinkin about)
It's MAD , it's easy to use , it's precise...
Thanx again

This came to me late yesterday during a work or arrangement with many audiofiles
-inspired by your "midigater" what would you think about a similar plug that would swap L and R channels of a mix or audiofile when triggered-on and back when triggered-off ?
-maybe with a simple AR enveloppe to smooth the operation if needed ?
( i thought that, at least, the best would be two independant synced ramps ...a bit like the refx did to their portamento time in many of their vsti's )
-what would you think about some of those synced parameters on your "monomaker" ?
-----------------------------------
-excuse me eventually if it sounds a bit pretentious, i haven't got a clue about programming, but i'll be enthousiast to reed your point of view, and be sure that i would have a use of such a sidechain plug
friendly...

I wanted to thank you for making such great plug-ins. I have been using the Buffer Override plug-in in my live set [laptop with Ableton Live and midi controllers], primarily over vocals. I also used that effect on the "Verrazano" track on my upcoming 12", "Berlin-New York" on Red Antenna.
For all you looking to use midi controllers on SuperDestroy and other VST plug-ins, Ableton's Live is the way to go for real-time tweaking.

Hello Marc and Tom!
Just wanted to send a note of ecstatic thanks for all the wonderful plugins. These rank among my very favorite and most used.
I do have one humble suggestion and request.
On the DFX Transverb, as it functions now, the possible transpositions of pitch are quantized into the 12 tone equal tempered tuning. It would seem the smallest possible step for pitch transposition is equal to 100 cents.
Would you consider making the transposition arbitrary, where one would be able to transpose by semitones and cents, so that any possible intervals could be achieved?
This would open two interesting musical possibilities:
1. Where one is using Transverb to create polyrhythms, one could create any possible by being able to tune the transpositions arbitrarily.
2. Where one is using Transverb to transpose pitches, *any* possible pitches could be realized, both including microtonal pitches, as well as the familiar 12 tone equal temperament.
As far as polyrhythms go, one is only able to get close to certain ones, with the 100 cents semitones of 12 tone equal temperament as transposition factors. And as far as pitch goes, there are an infinity of subtle shades of pitch lying in between the 12 tone equal temperament, which remain inaccessable where one is limited only to transpositions from 12.
Just food for thought. What do you think? Perhaps it could be switchable?
Anyhow - thanks again for the awesome plugs!

Hey these are cool effects! I work for a company that builds and designs Digital Audio Workstations and we are interested in having these effects bundled in our promo cd. When we ship out a system they could come included.

You're plug-ins are amazing, just what I always wanted. Thanks and thanks for making them free. If I ever get a decent job or a record contract I will pay you! By the way, you can check out a song I made using Buffer Overide, and Skidder (as well as plogue mixed grains if you're interested) at this link:

u boys are spot on and correct all the way.
Why aren't all filters etc playable via midi-note?!?
u fill the gaps in vst tech like the heroes u r.
wants/suggestions:
env mod in rez-synth,
note-number as a mod (inv) in combs.
Thank u both very much. |
