| buffer override not repeatable? |

You know how the buffer override isn't repeatable?
ie, you record a bunch of controls for it, and then if you play the same thing through it several times, it will sound slightly different each time.
The 'difference' is proportional to the buffer size, which makes me think that it is because the buffer just runs continuously, and doesn't reset on start... Is that right?
If it's possible to have some kind of a reset such that buffer override becomes reliably repeatable, that would increase it's usability no end...

Yo.
I just got enraptured with your plugins again. Every time I open a new project, I find a new use for them.
Try this: use a reverb in the effect chain before the Transverb--the added harmonics that the reverb introduces will create "ghost chords", ambience, and other etherial textures.
Also, using a dynamic filter (modulated by an envelope or LFO) in conjunction with the BO makes for some funky results.
Hey, by the way, how are those new plugins coming along? That "Broken fft" thing sounds like it could be ffreeesssshhh!

Love your plugins! Xtra kudos for making them available free and helping out all the folks....
I used Transverb on the "Alcyone's Chakra Dub" remix of "Funk Chakra" by Medicine Drum - to be released as a single soon by Cyberoctave in the USA. I am working on a new Alcyone album and will be using the plugz a lot more!

hi fellas - excellent plugs, thanks! i shall be donating when my wages arrive (paid monthly - job sucks etc...).
anyway, today i fired up cubase vst 4.1r2 (mac), and tried to get 'midi learn' to work (tried all the midi-learn enabled plugs of yours) with my UC-16 midi controller (16-knob usb thingy). it used to work fine - hit midi learn, select parameter (goes yellow), tweak a nob, and it was assigned. but when i tweak a knob now, i get nothing. its weird because i own 'phatmatik pro' which also has midi learn function, and this still works fine. have you any idea what might be causing this?
many thanks,
slink |

i am liking the bleepchopsquelchgrowltastic plugs from the guys like tom & marc. they are most rude for scaring the faint-hearted. but... Geometer 1.1 processes in stereo??? this isnt the case here on my mac (OS9) ! i binned the old 1.0 and placed the new 1.1 in my vst folder but alas it still only processes the left channel, leaving the right channel clean. i double-checked by doing a 'get info' to make sue i didnt delete the 1.1 version by mistake but nope - i have 1.1... ??? |
