When I use Rezsynth in cubase 3.7 I can't get it to work. The routing to it's midi imput isn't in the midi out menu. does anyone know what I should do? |

hi guys. i'm working on both the next Pleasant Stitch (http://www.pleasantstitch.com) album and my own electronica side project and had been using the DFX audio instrument vst madhouses much to my thrill... (yay! i cried out... yay! something to a**fuck soundwaves to my heart's content!). then i switched over to a Dual G4 1GHz system, and ooops... the DFX no like that (well... the transverb will schmooze a little with the processors... but the rez, the buffer, etc just won't even open the door). when i try to run 'em... i get a "ASIO System Overload" error... i take 'em out, and *poof!* everything is running again. any thoughts? remedies? voodoo rituals i might perform to get it all to work together?

i used skidder in chain with transverb
under LIVE sounded fantastic!
used it on audiofile containing single
pad chord ,plugs made possible to make it sound like very cool melodic arrangment by automaiting paramiters

I used skidder to gate the pads on my
Madonna Remix of Deeper and Deeper @ Acidplanet.com
You can link to the track from my mp3 page @ www.mp3.com/planetstar
I had to make extra takes tho, because Skidder went off beat when I ran the final mix from top to bottom. ( but I also had a crap load of vst's/ and Dir x running as well )
Still sounds great tho. |

Just looked at the plugins page and they look amazing. Unfortunately many of them need MIDI note information to work and Logic does not support this. As I am using a PC I can't use MIDI App to get around this problem. Is there any chance of a VSTi that plays a sound file triggered by a definable MIDI event, that could then pass other MIDI data from the sequencer to a VST plugin chain?
Something like a VSTi basic wave player incorporating a plugin 'rack'.
Don't want much do I? :)
Still it probably wouldn't be necessary if ppl wrote their hosts probably. |
