Dear Dr Snoot, i have been trying to contact you for many years, i am your long lost cousin noose. I am slightly older than you and when you were just a baby i took care of you but sadly this could not continue as i was exiled to a far away island for training a secret army of raccoons to take over the world. I have now managed with the help of a monkey called Tommy T to get back to or birthplace in oxford where i plan to set up a secret laboratory to grow people with giant ears called Claytons. I would like you to join me in this venture as togther we would have the unbeatable power of snooooose! where did snoot come from? out of nowhere me and a friend came up with the word snoot.from there we imagined what snoots looked like and even found people that looked like snoots.im very intrigued about the origin of snoot so if anyone could help me i would appreciate it

I think he's amazing!!!
This site and it's games are incredible, and the community he's set up here is awesome.
I think did most of this before he was even old enough to buy a beer!!!
To think of all those addicted to this place - I know I was extremely addicted lol.
Tom - you should set up a pay-pal donation link here - I for one would be happy to make a small donation for you to apply to whatever you want, or just blow on a few hours of fun for yourself since we've had how many hours of fun thanks to you??? I think I spent probably 25+ hours a week here for a year or two lol.
Any site that's even half as fun as this has all those annoying banners and popups and so on... this doesnt. I know, or think you didn't get involved in this to make money, and I'm not trying to push it in that direction at ALL, just saying you could set up a "Care to donate"? button for those of us who would like to - you can make it as obscure as you want... ya know doesn't have to be a huge banner at the top lol.
I got sent on an all expense paid trip to Jamaica once for setting up something as fun as this.... dunno if you'd get enough donations for an all expense trip to the mall or Jamiaca but I think you should set it up anyhow!
I'm thinking of donating 1 cent for every hour I spent here... that'd add up to at least the taxi fair to the airport LOL!
Anyhow - if for some reason you are not allowed to take donations - or something, then tell us your favorite charity... we could donate to it in your name.

Too funny.. I was just getting ready to post when I see "Does anyone remmber Whit"
I remember Whit! LOL.
Yes those 15 letter set up games were fun but - after seeing them a few times it wasn't that fun except to break the old record. I always counted two records one being a normal co-op game and then those totally set up ones that we did.
As far as playing a game and avoiding those who choose to play a different type of scribble ... it's not that hard to do... we used to do it often (just keep a particular game too busy) What I have to say is unless your actually going for the record, an occasional non TPer playing a word isn't the end of the world. It definately is sad when your about to break the record and someone uses the triple / triple you've set up for the word STATS... lol.
Back when I used to play the 3 (I think there were 3...) secret boards were pretty much knowin only to us and we found ways to let other 'team players' know how to find them, but keep in we also lost out on some possible awesome team players because we spent all our time on those 3 boards... ya know? Had those 3 boards been there when I first joined Scribble, I may never have known about them, nor the fun players... and might have left the area.
Watch the main boards - watch for people who seem to enjoy making full use of the tiles - and start playing with them ....
Anyhow nuff preaching, I just want to say that non TPs (FYI I invented that term LOL TP...) are not bad players they just play a different way... (remember in real scrabble the objective IS to block triples and so on.) Also many of them simply don't know or understand - talking nicely to them and explaining that they are welcome to play on 15 and 16 anyway they'd like - that he/she might concider leaving 15 and 16 for those working as a team to make the best possible use of the tiles... and suggest they try playing the co-op way.
