Complaint Against Uncooperative Player

What's the point of having extra games 15 & 16 if people are not going to cooperate?

There is one player....one of the ones with a webtv isp, who deliberately ruins games 15 & 16. Will waste s's, won't cooperate on the set ups, will block the triple word rows.

There are 14 games where one can play anyway they want to...(but I've even seen comments against this player down there too, because most people want to play cooperatively), but we who enjoy a higher level of play like the fact that you have given us games 15 & 16 for that type of play.

Is there anyway that this person can be told to play cooperatively in these games?

I think the comment made in this game says it all. Definitely driving people away.

Muddle Crashes

Usually the crash goes away once I refresh, but it still has this crash where it idles a long time and sends you to the crash screen.

I am really enjoying the muddle alpha test, but seeing it is only alpha, I thought I'd make some suggestions:

- Calculate the percentage of points received to the number of points it was possible to receive (a little more incentive to find those long words)
- Allow users to 'login' by creating an account system. This would allow for detailed leaderboards (eg lifetime percentage, words per game etc.), and statistics for each user. Obviously you would only allow people to make the leaderboard after playing 'x' number of games (to avoid people at the top of the board who have only played one really lucky game). It would really add an extra element to the game and add to its appeal.
- Pull the cookie information and place it in the textbox (when you have already submitted your nickname, it still says guest. Just set the value in the textbox tag to the value you are pulling from the cookie)
- Remove people from games, either when they click the 'return to muddle' button in a game, or they join other game (eg they used the back button in their browser).

Have a great weekend,
Dave

There's a test version of snoot's newest game, Muddle (similar to Boggle), up on the toys page. I appreciate testing and comments; graphics will come soon!
