SICO Castling

Apologies if someone has already pointed this out, but today I was able to "castle" when there were no rooks present - that is, the king was able to move from e1-g1 in a single move with no rook on h1. (Game 3, black's move 24. It's listed as "o-o" so evidently SICO thinks it's a valid castle. Although a new game 3 may have started today.)

I think you automatically get a queen, any chance of putting in a choice?I really really need a knight.
Rules of chess ...

Tom 7.

When me and links were checking SICO for you tonight we noticed a fault in the rules !

It allowed white to castle even though blacks rook was attacking the square the white rook ended up on. I hope you understand.

Im know your still working on the game but just letting you know just in case you overlooked that rule.

I love SICO, thanks Tom, and its pretty cool that you took that rule that ya cant play one on one out for too long ;)
SICO

Dear Tom,
Great to see the site back up, it would be great to see the haiku happening soon.

With SICO the pieces indicate all possible moves except where a take is involved, this would be a plus.

Cheers

I just added word/game statistics counting to Scribble.

The game has been working out well -- I'd consider Scribble "beta" now.
Ending a Game?

I posted this message early this morning and don't see it,so here it is again. How do we get rid of a game that can't be finished with unplayed letters like Q or Z. There were 3 games unplayable last night. One did start over even with the unplayed Q on it,but the other 2 never wouldn't end no matter how many times I clicked in on it. I'm new to this site having just heard about it 2 weeks ago from Whit. Really enjoy it when there's someone on it to keep it playing. I'm an all nighter when I have company....Good Job Tom...Thanks for keeping the Ole Brain working.. Judi at Flashnet..Dallas,Texas
sico;collab-fiction

I was wondering why so many of the chess games in SICO are screwed up, like with tons of knights or pawns when there shoudln't be. And maybe rather than the whole voting thing for collab-fiction, how about you(Tom 7) just approve which get in, only kicking ones that have tons os swearing and perversion and such in them, which I suppose is what the voting is for, but this new way will allow more than one or two people to write for it.

i think there should be some more spastic moose info and more incorperation of the rug enforcement agency. as well as more fonts based on elements of the actinoid series.
