A few comments made in the past two or three days.  Mind you, the troll can be a pain, but I learned to play around it.

I can't believe people just casually bypass these comments and think nothing of such FILTH.  I didn't think there could be anything lower than a troll, but apparently the chat/comment TROLL is the lowest of them all:

19. dieter [23] by cache-dtc-ac15.proxy.aol.com: looks like webtv 3263 got it up the ass one too many times and they used sand in the vaseline when they did him- that makes him cranky like this

I just turned on my webtv and went to scribble to play. However, on each game I was told I could not make two words in a row. I had not been in the game since last night. How could I make a word 4 minutes before?

tom, it's 10:00 pm and you really need to take a minute and look at the games.  they've been this way for hours (sis, lulu, tutu, etc.).  i know you're busy, but keep this kind of playing in the back of your mind.  i'm sure you are smart enough to figure out a way to end it.

1963 points. Close to absolute perfection. The only potential improvement could've happened at the end; I had the word PRIZEFIGHT remaining with two S's as well. I was hoping the word would appear before the last S, so I could play PRIZEFIGHT and then PRIZEFIGHTS for 29 extra points. But it was not to be -- the last tile on the rack was the "T". So the S's had to be used in lesser plays.

Games like this are awesome, yet they also discourage me from ever playing again. heh. The old record of 1943 points was set almost 3 years ago. I don't know if this one will ever be broken...
Muddle

To Tom or other  knowledgeable people,

Does anyone know who or what that thing is that has been coming into Muddle for about a month or more now?  That "Guest" "crawl-4.cuill.com" thing?
It comes into  games anywhere between one and five times as you are playing.  It doesn't bother me when playing as I just ignore it, but my concern is that it is copying your whole Muddle game site or something, or trying to break into it and ruin it or something.  It doesn't seem to be quite like the other tracking, crawling things, like Yahoo's.  I am just curious and not that computer saavy to know what it is.  Any  ideas?

I played my highest scoring word ever (at least in my memory) today in scribble: I played the 9-letter word 'isoenzyme' at o7, using the 's' to triple the word 'jive' (starting at k8d) and dls on the z for 408 points.

I felt pretty damn good about it (and still do), but it was only me and supertroll playing so none of my friends (i.e., the regular, expert players) saw the play.

I know it's obnoxious to point it out myself, but I don't care and claim bragging rights: YIPEE FOR ME!

You can see it for yourself in archived game 12.13.33.24-1136.html

To the anonymous webtv player ruining the expert games:

Please stop. You have 14 regular games you can (and do) play any way you want, but it seems that's not enough for you -- you now have to ruin the three expert games.

By making plays in the expert games, you've shown you read the expert rules, and you're well aware these games are called "expert" for a reason.

It's not funny, it's not cute, and it's not clever. It's pathetic. Your actions don't make me angry, they make me pity you as someone with such little self esteem you have to ruin a game for no apparent reason.

The stated objective of scribble is that the games are cooperative. Please show some consideration for the other players by restraining yourself for once and stick to playing the regular games.
