I'm sorry, Alpha. Your remark about "wasting two premium letters" just got me at a weak moment and I left you a snippy message in another game. You are a very good player. I'm not, but I am trying. We all have our weak moments and I just read your message during one of mine. Please accept my apology. |

tx to those that played Scribble today - there were some really good games, scores 950 and higher (into the 1200+), for a change. I was in and out all afternoon, but it was like old times, before the all the kids showed up to play.

To Tom
Its Friday 9:44 est. I am trying to play scribble and everytime I try and place a word I get the following."uncaught exception E_FILE: opena: Couldn't opena(write/append): /home/httpd/snoot-archive/scribble/06.03/31.21.45.13-637.html" I will keep trying to play and see what happens

Muddle hit 17% around 1:00 PM today... let's say 11 hours short of my prediction from around two weeks ago. Not bad ;-)
Well done everybody! :)
As far as 18.0% goes, it won't happen until around August, I'd estimate. Damn ;-) |

I dunno if anyone else has this problem, but Muddle can be unbelievably slow sometimes... at least once per game, it may take literally upwards of 30 seconds to register an "Enter" press.
I have DSL, it's not my connection -- and it happens intermittently. The longest delay I had just now was around 50 seconds, wasting the whole game... while this was happening, I loaded Firefox (normally I use IE6), and it couldn't even find the DNS server snoot.org (every other website was fine).
I'm guessing this is a bandwidth issue, but it's extremely annoying. Tom, I'll PayPal you $20 or something for a fix ;-) |
