Just because the targets of offensive material might not SEE the material in question doesn't make it right to produce said material. Is it alright to make fun of homeless people on TV, even though they won't see it? Would it be alright to post anti-Cathloic(or Baptist, Presbyterian, whatever) posters in a synagouge?

HELL NO!!!

Based on the tone of your message, I think it would be your posts that I would be blocking!

You might be right--that voting does not work--but this is a collaborative experiment. Go ahead and try to change the story through the mechanisms provided. But here, on the internet, we don't find thousands of years of religious dogma so compelling that we can't poke fun at its most salient purveyors. We also don't find whining very convincing.

Attacking public figures may be cliche, but I'd be hard pressed to consider it offensive. I am sure The Pope, too, would forgive them.

Also note that though you claim the same two or three authors get their input chosen every single time, only 3 hosts (out of 16) have gotten in more than once, and only one has gotten in three times.

Well, to clear things up a bit, I was not trying to say that Tom 7 was being negligent in running snoot.org.

I'm not going to restate the points Jimbo already made, but I would like to admit that now that I re-read the message it does seem like I overreacted a bit. Sorry everyone!

The Pope probably couldn't give a fetid pair of dingo's kidneys what we are saying and what we write about him. After all, it says in the bible that he's never wrong and we're going to hell :)
