Ever and ever again. Friend Tobot, stay assured that I won't post huge pictures, nor I'll encourage people to post hard-disk-filling leviatans.
Also, no trouble-bringing images.
After all this is Last Cereal, not something edgy like...uhm...www.escaped.it? ;)
And thank also for Untitled.gif, of course, again and again.
Back when I was SO depressed that I hadn't even the strength to express myself with LC, I listened the works of UntitledGif Orchestra while reading the whole strips archive, regaining a smile and some creative inspiration.
I have the feeling that the other untitled.gif creator could be in a situation just like the one I depicted, right now... so best luck to DjC.
Finally, here is detail from the flyer we are spreading all around Rome. Just to test the picture posting system :)

many things are digital, and many things are art.
however, the title digital art is thrown arround very lightly these days. some might even go so far as to say that LC is digital art. but they are wrong. LC is digitally distributited. it seems like nobody is pushing the art end of the digitl art, simply using it as a catchall for commercial concepts like graphic design or dgital animation.

you may remember me linking this on the untitled board, but i think that there is more to it than i orignally saw. if you poke arround, they have an INCREDIBLY well written essay on how to make browsers scream in pain at the loading of tables. very interesting stuff.

Quick strip, few changements, BIG news:
I've been idle because I'm setting up a show room!
Last Cereal will be showcased live during a concert of Matteo, featuring "Counterrotating in Vacuum" (the sound track he composed for the long dead LC Cartoon project), and his suite "Fibonacci's Piranhas".
Two pianos, four saxophones, two flutes,
and lights, and LC strips and related "art" projected all over the walls. I will take pictures, movies, and everything is gonna be uploaded.
Date: November, 15th.

This is pretty much an indication of too much procrastination on my part. Also a suggestion of A's to 'chart the arc of teh (the - now I feel like I shouldn't fix that!) message board'. From recent to oldish,
o LC: Art or conversation?
o Stress, schooling, etc.
o LC changing focus or direction.
o Merchandise.
o Priorities - money vs love.
o LC open mic. night.
o Msg board quiet & internet noise
o World events, changing perspectives, priorities again, Revelations (of the Bible kind)
o Hedonism, Plenty of recreational drug use
o Some in joke about bots or AI, I think. Explain BASIC echos, guys?
o Images and symbols
So what can we see? Less talk about LC itself than I expected, maybe. Certainly less than you'd see on another comic's MsgB, I'd say. How do we rate in general? I don't frequent any chat rooms or other boards to comment. What do you think?
So Andrea, does the board exist as an entity in its own right?

Somethings awry!I first found Last Cereal because although it was Andreas life it had so much in common with mine.Now Andreas life has changed to a coloured format and a different focus than despair.My life though is much like the H of the first two seasosns.I stay up all night.I hate outdoors.Something is wrong it is!Nothing helps my therapist is now a religious fanatic so I do not see her any longer.What is wrong people?What should I do? |
